The Times Higher Education has published the list of the best universities in the world in 2021. Dhaka University is at number 1001 in the list.
Recently on the list of good to bad Times Higher Education 1,500 universities in 93 countries on a list .This list has been prepared by evaluating the educational institutions on four criteria. These are: education, research, knowledge dissemination and international standards.
6 of the top 10 universities in the world are in the United States. Below is a list of the top 10 universities.
1. Oxford University
The UK University has been at the top for five consecutive years.
2. Stanford University
This university in the United States was number four last year. This time it took place at number two in the list.
3. Harvard University
Last time, this university in the United States was at number seven. This time it took place at number three.
4. California Institute of Technology
The University of California was in second place last year.
5. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is ranked number five on this year’s list of engineering universities.
6. University of Cambridge
This well-known university in the United Kingdom was at number three in the last list. Now down three steps to its position at number six.
7. University of California, Berkeley
The American university, which was not in the top ten last time, has reached number seven this year.
8. Yale University
